A few years back, Kyle and I talked about doing some sort of giveaway, act of kindness, SOMETHING to help people out during the holidays and two years ago we made it happen. No sponsorships or gimmicks, just a small collection of things we thought would be fun to share with the community that has been a part of our lives since 2009. A small gesture, a small way to give back, a small way to simply say Thank You and we hope that, even in a tiny way, this makes things easier or just makes your day.
Now, starting on December 1st at 6pm CST, we'll be hosting our third 12 Days of Christmas giveaway and this year we decided to do an Amazon Gift Card giveaway each day!
Every day from Dec. 1-12, we will post an Amazon Gift Card giveaway that will be live for 24 hours. The winner from the previous day will be announced at the launch of the current day's giveaway. So, our first giveaway will open on Dec. 1st at 6pm CST and will close at 6pm on Dec. 2nd CST. The winner of the Day 1 giveaway will be listed on the Day 1 giveaway post, and so on. You get the idea. ;) There are only two exceptions... Day 6 and Day 12 will be larger $100 giftcards to Amazon.com! WOO! These two will be open for entering from the very first day until their respective days to give everyone more time to enter.
And we wanted to do something else. Most of you know we are from the awesome city of Houston that was recently (along with many other areas) hit hard during Hurricane Harvey. We were so fortunate to be spared but it could have easily been us. The beautiful home we had just sold one month prior, the home we brought three of our children home to, the only home they ever knew, was filled with over 8 feet of water.
Our hearts broke not just for the house that was so good to us or the sweet family who had just moved in, but for everyone else who suffered as well. This has inspired us to give all proceeds from the video posts about the giveaway on our family YouTube page to a Hurricane Harvey Relief fund. People are still struggling. People are still rebuilding. People still need help. We aren't big huge YouTubers and these videos will not make much, but we know from experience that every little bit can help.
Look for giveaway announcements and the official entry forms here or via our social media accounts at 6pm CST on each day, December 1-12. Entering will be simple. You don't have to be subscribed to us, like us anywhere, check anything out... you can just enter. We want this to be for everyone. And to you, our community, there will, of course, be bonus entries as a special thank you for being a part of Go Team Hale and Kyle and Court for all these years. We love you guys.
