Simple Cinnamon Roll Cookies

I shared this recipe years ago on our YouTube channel (Go Team Fam!) and it is still a favorite in our house minus the fact that they DISAPPEAR as soon as you make them. They are so light (not heavy like a normal cinnamon roll) that they just get eaten up. Normally, we are very much a Give Us ALL the Frosting/Icing! family but with these... you don't need or miss it. Obviously, feel free to add some because, well... you can only go up in the delicious meter with this little cookie, but they are stand alone yummy.

Ingredients: - 1 can of Crescent Dinner Rolls - Cinnamon (or Similar… I used a Vanilla+Cinnamon+Sugar Mix) - About 1 to 2 tbsp of butter Optional: - Sugar to taste - Brown Sugar to taste

Watch Here:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease large cookie sheet. Roll out crescent roll dough (it will usually be in two pieces - you can keep each piece separate) directly on cookie sheet and pinch together perforations. Spread butter over entire surface of both pieces. Sprinkle on your cinnamon (or similar) to your desired amount. Optional: Sprinkle a bit of sugar and brown sugar over dough to your taste. (This isn't really optional... DO IT!)

Roll dough up tightly starting on the LONG end of the rectangle. Freeze dough rolls for about 10-15 mins. Remove and slice dough into 1/2 an inch or a little more size pieces. Stand each piece up (they will stand tall!). Bake at 350 for about 7-10 mins depending on your oven. DO NOT OVER COOK!!! Check early and check often. Cookies will be a pale golden brown when done. Serve as is or add your own frosting or glaze. Enjoy! =)
